WHO AM I?

I completed my master’s degree in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University (İstanbul, Turkey) and my doctorate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA).

 

Throughout my academic career, I taught Political Science and Research Methods at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, supervised master’s and doctoral theses, and served on thesis committees for many students.

Witnessing that numerous master’s and doctoral students struggle to effectively translate their academic knowledge into their theses/dissertations due to inadequate training in research methods and academic writing prompted my transition into thesis coaching upon leaving institutional academia.

As a thesis coach, my objective is to combine academic counseling and student coaching to guide master’s and doctoral students who, despite struggling with the thesis process, remain committed to authoring their own work and wish to complete their projects while enhancing their research and writing skills.
